Welcome to my blog! I created this blog in order to improve my writing, as well as share my writing & ideas with others. I generally like to scribble down my daily experiences and sometimes pointlessly rant on about nothing. Occasionally I’ll try to work out some problems, since I find it easier to think with my thoughts written down. For those of you who've gone past their teen aged years, expect a flash-back! I also hope to start writing stories (short/long), & the occasional poems (not very good with those!). Any comments, suggestions, feed-back or constructive criticism is highly appreciated. Enjoy your stay, and oh...don't forget to say hello to my little cutiepie - Tiny Tunester! Click on his play button & he'll be glad to play music for you; he rocks to the music, too! I hope you enjoy your stay!
Elegance is my attire & purity is my principle.

Happy Birthday to Me!
Mood:Stressed by happy.
It's my 18th Birthday today, and although I didn't really have a very big celebration, I still did celebrate it. My friend Prema came over; we ate cake, and fruits, and listened to music, and watched music videos, and taking lots and lots of pictures!! Had fun actually!
To be honest, I wanted to have a proper party. But unfortunately, that isn't possible ... unfortunately.
Anyhow, I have so much homework, so many assignments. I don't even know WHEN I will be able to complete them. I'll find a way, with Allah's help.
HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Here's a present from my mom:
Shonamoni,
Happppppppppppppy 18th birthdayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy & a big Huggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Mom
I've always known myself to be quite a pessimistic individual.
Most of my short little life I've spent as a confused, lost little butterfly wandering here and there, not knowing which benighted path holds my ray of light.
Practically speaking, I've been confused about what to do with the rest of my life; I've gone from wanting to study engineering, to studying medicine, to I'm not sure what also. I was never successfully 100% confident with any of my choices; I wasn't able to accept my flaws and nurture my qualities. I wanted to be an engineer, but my 10th Grade Computer Engineering course just took away a handful of my percentages - and my confidence. I wanted to be a doctor - I'm horrible at science. I guess I want to have these great high-paid, high-levelled careers, only to prove my importance to everyone else around me.
Last year, after failing almost every single course - and I mean EVERY SINGLE COURSE (besides English and..some other course), I decided I would study English in University. After numerous warnings from my Guidance counsellor, I still took 2 sciences (biology & chemistry), and advanced functions (oh by the way, I'm horrible at math too!). I'm currently failing advanced functions - it's only the beginning of the year. I can already foreshadow my grades for next semester - biology: 30%, chemistry: 42%.
So I've finally come to a conclusion!!
I WILL NOT FORCE MYSELF TO TAKE ANY MORE SCIENCES OR MATHS; I will accept my flaws and love my qualities! I WILL TAKE MORE ENGLISH COURSES, AND GET INTO AN ENGLISH PROGRAM FOR UNIVERSITY! I WILL WORK HARD THIS YEAR SO THAT I CAN GET INTO the University of Toronto!
I will also begin to take more afterschool activities; I may not be skilled when it comes to chemistry or math or biology, but I know I could have other more practical skills (such as cooking or sewing or ..writing?).
Last year I began learning to sew, but due to the lack of time, I had to quit. I also have absolutely no time to write; the thing I love to do the most! If I do more English courses (which are much easier for me), I'll have a lot more time to do the things I love to do. I'll take up sewing and writing again, and I'll get a job, I'll do all my 5 prayers and learn the Quran again, and I'll exercise and get back to looking like that pretty little ladie I once was! I WILL FIND MY HAPPiNESS!! INSHALLAH!!!!
Word of the Day:Foofaraw (FOO-fuh-raw): 1. Excessive or flashy ornamentation or decoration. 2. A fuss over a matter of little importance.
...a young girl that can't seem to keep her promises - to others, and herself!
I'm extremely disappointed in my self for, once again, quitting on my goal. I promised I would practise writing and become stronger at literature, but like always have become lazy! Although I suppose school had something to do with it; I've been so very busy trying to keep up with all my courses.
This year my courses are: (semester 1) - Advanced Functions - English - English Literature - Nutritional Science (semester 2) - English Peer Tutoring - Writer's Craft - Biology - Chemistry
I'm thinking of replacing Advanced Functions, Chemistry, and Biology with some other courses - I'm going into English for University, so I wouldn't need Ad.F or Biology or Chemistry. Still, I can't help but feel a slight sting; I feel like a failure not being able to do any sciences or maths!
One of the courses I'm considering taking is Philosophy. The rest I still haven't figured out.
Anyhow, this entire post was another way of procrastination. I'm gonna go study now. LATER!!
I'm currently on my iPod touch, experimenting! I wanted to see if I can make a post using it ...and it seems I can, although painfully! It's really hard to type using this tiny little device and it's microscopic keyboards. I prefer a computer better...but I must admit, how cool is it to be able to take the Internet AND all my important files and games with me everywhere I go?! I love my iPod touch! By the way, it is currently 5:10AM and I haven't gone to slep yet. I so need to fix my schedule! Good night!
So I've got my Character List under progress, and I've got an idea of what my story could be about, but I have absolutely no idea of what the title could be! Please, please all you creative people out there, lend me your Right Brain & help me out in my time of need!! Well obviously you'll need to know what the story is about in order to suggest titles. So I'll make it short:
The two Princesses of North Aazarah, Mahima & Aneela, reveal to you the dark-sides of Royalty. The land that they grew up knowing as dull & meaningless, became one of their most priceless possessions. The two Princesses discover the love-filled people that hide within the broken huts, and find forbidden love under Cherry Blossom trees.
Okay so I'm not very good at writing. I'm awful, but I enjoy every effort I put into it. However awful my writing may be, I'd still like to -for once- complete what I started & finish this story. Please help me think of a story title, and also offer me any type of constructive criticism possible!
